IN VISIBLE

09/08/2015 - 14/08/2015: Nepal Art Council, Kathmandu, Nepal

In 25th April 2015, Nepal experienced a 7.8 Magnitude earthquake killing nearly 9,000 and injured over 20,000 people. Amongst the most vulnerable and effected were the differently abled. In response to the crisis Bright Star Society, a small local nongovernmental organization in collaboration with Gwahali, another non profit organization, focused their efforts to provide earthquake relief for the blind effected by the earthquake.

In August 2015, with the support and collaboration from Bright Star Society, Gwahali and Photo.circle, In Visible a photo exhibition / workshop was held at Nepal Art Council to raise charity and awareness.  The exhibition was successful to gather funds to build three temporary shelters in Kavre District, the epicenter, for the blind who lost their homes in the earthquake.
